FOOD: Montfort Grill House (Location Closed)
Success doesn't have to mean sacrificing Authenticity

The drive to succeed financially has ruined cuisine all over the world, so it’s a refreshing change to find a chain which respects the taste and authenticity of the cultural experience they claim to provide. Montfort Grill House was established 15 years ago in Hamilton, by owner and founder Bishara Arraf, and the woman serving us came to this location after working for him, which says a lot about the integrity of the company. She also told my dinner companion, Paul, and I that the people running the HarBourFront location are “super nice”; I had a good feeling about the staff right away. Out front was a small patio, appropriate to the neighbourhood, and inside, we found a nice, sleek, modern bar with exposed brick for a rural touch. The decor and colour scheme are fitting and the overall environment is warm and pleasant, but replacing the radio playing the odd commercial with straight music would make it ideal for families and first dates alike.
